The Breakdown

For Her

Noonday Collection – jewelry and accessories.  You can read my official Noonday introduction here if you want but the long story short is that they provide dignified work for artisans all over the globe.  They have over 180 pieces that are under $50!

I was recently introduced to Noonday and was really impressed with their mission and also with their products.  Whether your gift recipient is calm and classic or boisterous and colorful, Noonday has a piece for her!

Select Carli Desai as your trunk show and be sure to order by December 6 to guarantee Christmas delivery!

Musa Natural – bath and body products free of parabens, paraffin wax, phthalates and formaldehyde.  Always cruelty free.

You’ll find bath bombs, sugar scrubs, lotions, lip balms and candles.  Additionally, there are some gift sets where you can mix and match scents and products!

Promo code “chaos” gets you 10% off your order!  Place orders by December 10 to guarantee delivery for Christmas.

Because COFFEE, am I right?  Moms are notorious for needing coffee as a means to survival.  For me, I like a mobile option during the week to get me through the car pool line but on the weekend, I like to cozy up with a pretty looking mug (p.s. did you know Amazon sells pretty mugs like these??).  Actually, mostly I like to forget where I put that mug to get it out of the hands of the 18 month old and then drink it when it’s cold.  Mom life at it’s best.  Also, did you know that coffee subscriptions are a thing?  They totally are and you can get gift options as low as $26 to go for a trial run!

For Him

Every man needs a good watch.  I’ve picked my top 3 for you and one is sure to be a favorite.  Plus prime shipping, thank you very much!

My man likes his coffee, his cocktails and his cold ones.  You can check out my favorite vessels for each of those options.  I like pig butts and I can not lie – come on, that’s classic!

And lastly, stuff to keep him cozy like a scarf, a vest and some fun socks, for some fun with his work suit or weekend wear.  And slippers.  Give his tired feet a rest!

The Kids

Oh the kids.  We have recently adopted the 4 gift rule – something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read.  It’s still a little complicated adding Santa in the mix but we’re working through it.  Yes, there are a bajillion toys out there that your kids will try to convince you that they need but I tried to pick a few that stood out as favorites.

There are also some more educational pieces in there, as well.

And regular books are great, but have you heard of book subscription boxes?  You need to check it out on the last page!

Let's Keep in Touch!

Let me know what you get!  Let me know what you love!  And if you’re not on my email list yet, well, get on there!  I promise I only send awesome stuff like gift guides, styling tips and soon enough I’ll be giving you all the deets on my Christmas cookies!

  1. I don’t have kids, but I like the 4 gift rule concept. I think I will be getting more experiences like maybe tickets a show or farm tour for my nephews and nieces this year as opposed to toys they won’t play with for very long.

    1. carlibdesai

Yes, I love the experience gift as well. So often the kids just have so many toys already! We’ve been trying to put together a giveaway pile every few months in an effort to control it.

  2. Love your gift suggestions! Id never heard of Noonday before, but I love the concept behind what they do. Thanks for introducing me to a great company!

    1. carlibdesai

Yes, I love it all so much – plus they have some great ornaments too. I got a set of 4 to separate out for my nieces to start the conversation with them as well!

  3. I love the men’s watch! Good choice. It would look good on my hubby!

    1. carlibdesai

Yes! I’ve had my eye on the wooden one for a few years. May finally be ready to pull the trigger this year!

  4. Want, wear, need and read is a great idea to stick to!

  5. Great gift ideas!! I bought my hubby a wooden watch last year for our anniversary. He loves it and gets compliments all the time on it! We do the minimalist gift giving at our house as well for our kids but also add “something to eat” as well!

    1. carlibdesai

      Ooh like cookies?! 😉

  6. Experience gifts are my fave! Do you have any suggestions for teachers or coaches? My son has a female coach and a male coach who have been instrumental in his development and I’d love to come up with a cool gift!

    1. carlibdesai

What’s your budget? Noonday has some unique Christmas ornaments. I got a set of 4 to divide among my 4 nieces and I got us the little stuffed elephant. I love that it will always be on the tree as a reminder of us/artisans around the globe. If not Noonday, I’ve seen some great ornaments on Etsy in all sorts of price ranges!

  7. Good ideas! You reminded me that hubby needs a new watch for this Christmas!

  8. So I don’t have any kids but I have A LOT of nieces and nephews and all kinds of toddlers/kid relatives so this is something worth the read!

  9. Thanks for sharing. I had never heard of book subscription boxes – that’s so cool! Some good ideas/deals for sure 🙂

  10. Erin Haugerud

Good round up!! I need some ideas!

  11. Jane Simmons

The wrapping is so cute!! Such great ideas!

  12. Really great picks!! I am always thankful for a great mug and I am not sure how I’ve never thought to get my Hubby a scarf… I may need to use that idea this year 😉

  13. This is such a good gift guide! I absolutely love the pint glasses for him. 🙂
